What exactly is a Yoga Vacation?
In a Yoga Vacation, different from a Yoga Retreat, there is no full day of planned activities; everyone is free to choose how they want to spend their time. We begin the day with a shared morning meditation and yoga session, but the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Daily, there are a variety of activities, excursions and workshops that you are welcome to take part in.
Can I join without previous experience in Ashtanga Yoga?
Yes! This is actually a great chance to learn and immerse yourself in Ashtanga yoga for an entire week. All that is required is an enthusiasm to practice and participate. We will alternate between teacher-led classes and self-practice (Mysore).
Do I have to participate in all activities?
No. We provide various options for you to pick from for your yoga holiday. We intend to practice yoga & meditation together daily and you are free to use the remainder of your time however you wish.
Is the event suitable for solo-travelers ?
We have planned a variety of activities that can be enjoyed in a group, giving you the opportunity to meet new people. At the same time, there will be plenty of time to relax and explore the area on your own. Additionally, you can also bring a partner or friend who can stay in the apartment with you, but not take part in the activities.
What's the best way to explore the Island?
We recommend renting a car to explore all the beautiful surroundings at your own pace. Plus, once we have the final list of participants, we’ll have a online event to get to know each other better. If you’re up for it, sharing a car could be a great idea. But if not, don’t worry – there are buses that run every 30 minutes to the city (takes about 60 minutes by bus) and other southern beaches (only 10-30 minutes away).
