Between a sunny island and the swiss mountains

How it all began…

My yoga journey took root when I was 17, in my hometown, Las Palmas. I was in search for an “alternative” to surfing before I moved to Switzerland. Little did I know, I’d stumble upon Ashtanga Yoga.

From the full body workout to the calming ocean breath that is used during practice, Ashtanga Yoga quickly became something special to me. I discovered a sense of pure bliss – much like the feeling I experience when surfing. Even from a distance, I was still connected to the peace of the ocean.

Ever since then, throughout studies, my career in clinical research, and life’s ups and downs, Ashtanga yoga has been like a reliable friend – a practice that feels like coming home.

Teaching style

The reason I’m so passionate about practicing and sharing yoga is because it reminds me, time and again, that, just a few breaths away, there’s an inner source of peace in each of us, something we carry with us no matter what. And that’s incredibly valuable.

Through the meditative atmosphere created during an Ashtanga yoga class – the Sanskrit count, the rhythmic mantras, the mindful breath, and the profound connection to our bodies – I believe that this source becomes clearer.

I aim to offer you a space of trust where you can simply be yourself, just as you are, and day by day, express your inner balance through the practice.
